Kiosk & PC for Licensing and Permit Registrations
When a National Retailer needed to add in store ordering capacity and permitting registrations they decided to automate through and provide additional terminals for sales and management staff. Realizing that the location provided no data access and no power receptacle the project would require multiple trades to add Network Access and 120 VAC in support of a printer, computer terminal and Kiosk.

Trades and Skills: Low Voltage IT Specialist, Journeyman Electrician
Consult with Customer to develop a Fast Track installation plan.
Since each Kiosk would have a unique location in each store Source One consulted with the customer to develop a set of prerequisite requirements and communication plan for notifying store management of the physical space and power requirements so they could allocate the space for the Kiosk.
Furnish Material: TIA Certified Category 5 Cable, CAT 5 B Jacks, patch cords, electrical cable, 20 Amp Breaker, conduit receptacles and power poles and stocked to installation team on a just in time basis.
Installation: Assured that electrical and data cable conduit is not intermingled. Installed conduit, power pole, electrical cable, (2) CAT 5 cable and terminations on near and far ends. Installed a 20 Amp breaker and terminated electrical to panel. Tagged data cable for PC and Kiosk identification.
Set and placed Kiosk, PC and printer.
Cable tested for TIA compliance and results recorded to customer database for future reporting. Kiosk, PC and printer tested for network connectivity and functionality.
Project completed with full reporting on services time stamp (start/stop), arrive/depart and photo documentation.
